Two Books That Take an Alternative Look At Economics
We've just released Mark Martinez's The Myth of the Free Market, a critical and timely look at the role that government has to play in our economy. Ha-Joon Chang, author of Bad Samaritans, calls it "fascinating". Also on the way is Freedom From Want by Ian Smillie, a long-overdue look at one of the most dynamic and successful NGOs in the world, BRAC.
The World Bank and the Gods of Lending
